Cable end caps are used in both low- and high-voltage applications on telecommunication cables, electrical distribution cable ends and power cables. Cable end caps are potted using either cold-contract or heat-get smaller technology. Cold-shrink cable end caps are mounted on a detachable artificial core. Once the end cap is installed, the artificial core is removed to seal the congregation. Heat-shrink cable end caps form a close once heat is applied. Both cold-get smaller and heat-get smaller cable end caps are characteristically made of PVC or polyolefin for power and durability and can come with valves for hassled applications.
